Using Cibo

Cibo is a personal cookbook, recipe import, meal planning, and shopping-list service. You may use Cibo only if you can legally form a binding agreement and only in compliance with these terms and applicable law.

Accounts

You are responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. If you use Google, Apple, or another sign-in provider, your use of that provider is also governed by its own terms and policies.

You agree to provide accurate account information and to notify Cibo if you believe your account has been accessed without permission.

Your Content

You retain ownership of the recipes, notes, images, screenshots, plans, shopping list items, kitchen profile details, and other content you add to Cibo. You give Cibo permission to host, store, process, display, transform, and transmit your content as needed to provide the app and related features.

You are responsible for the content you submit. Do not upload content you do not have the right to use, and do not use Cibo to store or share unlawful, harmful, infringing, or abusive material.

Recipe Imports and Third-Party Content

Cibo may help you import or summarize recipe content from websites, screenshots, images, or text you provide. Third-party recipes, websites, images, and social content remain subject to their owners' rights and terms. You are responsible for how you use imported third-party content.

AI-Assisted Features

Some Cibo features may use automated or AI-assisted processing to parse recipes, suggest ideas, organize content, or generate drafts. Outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your needs. Review recipe instructions, ingredients, allergens, temperatures, and food-safety information before relying on them.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use Cibo in a way that violates law or another person's rights.
• Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data without permission.
• Interfere with, overload, reverse engineer, or disrupt the service.
• Upload malicious code, abusive content, or unlawful material.
• Use Cibo to scrape, copy, or redistribute third-party content unlawfully.
• Misrepresent your identity or the source of submitted content.

Beta and Availability

Cibo may include beta or pre-release features. Features may change, break, or be removed. We may suspend, modify, or discontinue parts of the service at any time.

Ownership

Cibo, including its design, software, branding, and service features, is owned by Cibo or its licensors. These terms do not give you ownership of Cibo's software, trademarks, or service materials.

Privacy

Cibo's collection and use of information is described in the Privacy Policy.

Termination

You may stop using Cibo at any time. Cibo may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, create risk for the service or other users, or use the service unlawfully.

Disclaimers

Cibo is provided "as is" and "as available." To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cibo disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, availability, accuracy, and reliability.

Cibo is not a medical, nutrition, allergy, or food-safety advisor. Always use your own judgment and appropriate professional guidance when preparing food or relying on dietary information.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Cibo will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or service interruptions arising from your use of Cibo.

Changes to These Terms

Cibo may update these terms from time to time. When changes are material, we will update the effective date and provide notice as appropriate. Continuing to use Cibo after changes become effective means you accept the updated terms.
